HHI for Mr. & Mrs. Thie

Blair had to work at a beer festival this weekend (I use the term "work" loosely) and I traveled down to Hilton Head to spend some time with my mom and aunt and uncle and see one of my very first Wofford friends tie the knot.

I arrived in HHI Friday right around dinner time and after a delicious meal and a good night's sleep I was ready for the normal HHI activities. That means a morning run, going out to breakfast (hence the run), shopping, and then lots of quality "lounge" time. Before I knew it, it was time to get ready for Sarah Beth and Doug's wedding.

I met Doug the summer before our freshman year and it was such a special feeling to sit there among their family and friends to see Sarah Beth and Doug become husband and wife. They are a terrifically nice couple and it was an honor to be a part of their day.

Reunited with Nancy!

Love is in the [Crisper] Air

Last weekend we celebrated Cally and Dave with several of our friends. It was definitely a "kids" party (Football games and some Nicki Manaj included, I don't hate it) and everyone had a blast. Its hard to believe that their big day is a little more than a month away, time really is flying by!

Ann Spencer & Sara
Yesterday Garen, a friend since our middle school days at St. Francis, married Bethany, someone our group of friends has grown to love just as much. They got married in Calhoun, GA right on the lake and despite an early fall chill in the air it was a beautiful wedding and so in tune with their personalities.

Beautiful cake (And delicious, don't  worry friends, I tried it and the groom's cake

Pretty falls flowers

So pretty & perfect

Back At It

After mid-August we had a little break in our "Wedding Weekend Circuit". However, today marks the beginning of the fall festivities and I could not be more excited. Tonight my friend from middle school (that's right folks, middle school) is getting married and I cannot wait. You know someone is a true friend if they knew you when you were stage manger of the school plays, had braces until you were a junior in high school and still invites you to their wedding (I am clearly talking about myself, not Garen).

A busy, happy bulletin board!
Hope you have something fun planned this weekend, thanks for reading!

Back At It & Happy Birthday Mrs. Carey!

Ok. I have dropped the blogging ball. Big time. I think I put up a record three posts in September; this is pathetic and I apologize Mom and Aunt Sal (Because I know you are the only people that read this). So this is me saying I will try to do better, new month means a new start!

In blogging/family related news, here's to wishing a very happy birthday to my cousin Rebecca! Hoping your day was just as special as you are to me!

Thanks for reading, I promise to actually start writing...
